Promised 6 Days, Delivered a Month of Frustration & Lies 😠
I'm writing this as a warning after my recent purchase. I needed new glasses for an upcoming trip and ordered them weeks in advance, trusting the company's advertised production time. That trip has come and gone, and I'm still waiting. My conclusion about this whole ordeal is simple: Frustrating is the word to describe this company - dishonest would be another. They claim 6 days to produce the glasses - has anyone really had them make good on this? Their customer service bot is worthless and I doubt there is any HUMAN reps. I ordered for a trip thinking no problem it will take a few weeks - that has come and gone and no date in sight. Pretty disappointed that they mislead on how long it actually takes probably shipped from China. After getting nowhere with their bot, I finally demanded to speak to a person, which prompted this review.
Customer: My order is a month late! I missed the trip I bought these glasses for because you lied about your production times. Where are they?
CS Rep: I am so incredibly sorry to hear about this delay and that it impacted your trip. That is completely unacceptable. Could you please provide me with your order number so I can investigate this for you immediately?
Customer: It's order #789123. Your site promised 6 days. It's been over 30. This is ridiculous. I feel completely misled by your company.
CS Rep: Thank you. I see it here. There was an unexpected delay in the lab, and I sincerely apologize that this was not communicated to you properly. This is not the standard of service we aim for. I've gone ahead and issued a 30% refund to your account and upgraded the shipping to overnight once it leaves the lab, which should be tomorrow.
Customer: A refund doesn't get me back my trip. This has been a terrible experience. I just want the glasses I paid for.
CS Rep: I completely understand your frustration, and you are right to be upset. I will personally monitor your order to ensure it ships tomorrow and you will receive an email with the new tracking information directly from me.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
